Energy Rater, with EnergyLogic since August 2016
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, “Keep Austin Weird,” but escaped to Colorado as soon as I could for the same reasons as many others–the mountains, rivers and great outdoors. My passion for the natural world and my desire to preserve it led me to a degree in Environmental Policy with a minor in Water Studies. In school, I had the opportunity to intern for Colorado Trout Unlimited and the National Conference of State Legislatures where I focused on researching and writing on various environmental issues. While at Colorado Trout Unlimited, I had the opportunity to research and write a report on the Land and Water Conservation Fund and its effects on Colorado. This report was presented to Senators Gardner and Bennett from Colorado, and eventually used in lobbying efforts by the National Trout Unlimited organization on the Hill in Washington.
In my off hours, I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside either climbing, biking, hiking or being on the water. These times are even more enjoyable when spent with friends and family. I am also an avid reader, with an affinity for history books, particularly ones about the western US.
I am very excited to be a part of EnergyLogic and contributing to a great company which is truly trying to make a difference.
