Director of Sales, with EnergyLogic since June 2013
Having spent the better part of my life living around Vail in the mountains of Colorado, my family decided it was time to experience the pleasures of city traffic and relocate to the Front Range.
I spent the past 15 years as an independent builder, building everything from high end custom homes to simple starter homes. Going through the process, and trying to stay educated on best building practices, I always had this nagging suspicion that there was a better, more efficient way to build houses for Colorado’s climate. During the recent building slowdown, I found EnergyLogic and got certified as a home auditor and rater. Taking my certifications back to Eagle County, I tried to convince people how and why they should improve their homes. As clients agreed that something should be done, somehow I ended up starting an insulation business to go along with my general contracting, home auditing, property management, and remodeling business. It was all a bit overwhelming and the opportunity to work with EnergyLogic and have the support and experience of the industry leader to work with builders who want to build quality homes, is something I am very excited about.
Away from work, my wife and I spend an inordinate amount of time sitting in ice rinks watching our 13 year old son play hockey. In order to make the move to the Front Range smoother, we agreed to let him play AAA hockey which, unfortunately, he made. When not freezing in an ice rink, I enjoy cycling, trail running, playing my own hockey, and sitting on the patio drinking coffee (morning) or wine (evening).
