Rating Field Inspector, with EnergyLogic since May 2018
I spent most of my life growing up in the confines of little ol’ Delaware. My entry into the environmental/sustainability space started out during my undergraduate years, where I studied Energy & Environmental Policy. After that, I decided to take advantage of the possibilities a graduate degree could offer and made the decision to escape Delaware and move across the world to the “Land of Oz,” where I received a master’s degree in Environmental Management. While living in Australia, I grew an undying love for the great outdoors, which has further spurred my interest in limiting humans’ impact on nature.
Following my studies, I caught a serious case of the travel bug and backpacked solo through Europe and southern Africa, where I slept under the stars spooning cheetahs, went cage diving with great whites, and explored some jaw-dropping landscapes. The past few years of my life have played a big role in shaping my future and are the main reason I made the decision to move to Colorado at the end of 2017. There’s no way I can justify living in a mediocre place after experiencing some of the most beautiful areas in the world!
Although I moved here with very few belongings and essentially no plan, I am happy that my path has led me to be a part of the EnergyLogic team. I’m excited to get involved in promoting sustainability in the built environment and look forward to improving energy efficiency in new homes!
