Please note that the Plan Analysis for Building Professionals Training is intended for individuals who do not need or want the RESENT Rater Certification. This training is not intended for those having enrolled or completed the RESNET Home Energy Rater Training. For: The architect or other building professional involved in the creation of plans or building specifications

Duration: 2 days

Cost: $400

Course Description:

EnergyLogic's Plan Analysis Training will prepare you to use house modeling to determine what building practices and energy features will achieve a specific HERS Index score for a particular project.

This two day course includes:

An introduction to systems thinking and building science
Discussion of plan details that effect the HERS Index score
Practicing using one possible plan takeoff method for generating a REMRate™ model
Experiencing entering data into REMRate™
Strategizing on how to lower the HERS Index score from REMRate™ models

Additional Benefits:

The successful completion of the short exam at the end of the PA Training will qualify the student to sublicense the REMRate™ software through EnergyLogic with limited printing capabilities.

To reserve a space and to receive important information pertaining to the training, course participants must provide EnergyLogic, Inc. with a completed registration form and a nonrefundable* deposit of $200.00 (half the cost of tuition). Remaining balance of the tuition is due on the first day of class.
