RESNET Rater/BPI Building Analyst Combo Training

Certification Earned: Successful candidates will earn BPI Building Analyst Certification and will satisfy the first two steps required for RESNET Rater Certification. Please note that the third and final step (minimum 3 Probationary Ratings) is to be performed under a candidate's HERS Provider and is not included in this course.

Duration: 10-12 days (see curriculum below)
Tests Taken: RESNET National Home Energy Rater Test, BPI BA Written Exam & BPI BA Field Exam
Required Materials: laptop with wireless capability (if a Mac, must run a dual platform), calculator capable of calculating square roots
Laptop Rentals: available for $75 for both weeks
Suggested Materials: clipboard, tape measurer (at least 25 ft), hardhat & flashlight
Food: a light breakfast and a full lunch will be provided, Monday-Friday
Prerequisites: Completing the Resdiential Energy textbook prior to class and reading through documents listed below
